David Mandel

David Mandel is a multifaceted American entertainment professional, born in either 1969 or 1970. His career spans various fields, including writing, acting, directing, and producing, with a primary focus on film. Mandel has made significant contributions to several notable television shows, serving as an executive producer and showrunner for the acclaimed series Veep, as well as an executive producer and director for Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld.
In addition to his work on these prominent series, Mandel has also demonstrated his versatility as a comedian and producer-director of the teen comedy film EuroTrip. His writing credits include stints on Seinfeld during its seventh, eighth, and ninth seasons, as well as co-writing the screenplay for the 2003 film adaptation of The Cat in the Hat. Mandel was also involved in the creation of Clerks: The Animated Series and worked as a writer for Saturday Night Live. Furthermore, he briefly hosted a comedy video game review show called Dave and Steve's Video Game Explosion on TBS, although the program was short-lived.
